LIGHTING LECTURE, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand
20th Aug, 2019 - the 4th time sharing knowledge on retail and public space lighting at KMITL for third year Interior Architecture Students. Lovely to be here as always. It is nice to see sparkling eyes of students while listening how much lighting could do and effect. Lighting is not a thing we could tell my photo or text but to ‘experience’ it for real. Let the ‘light’ and ‘shadow’ speak for themselves.
LIGHTS IN GOA - LIGHTING CONFERENCE, India
International Lighting Conference and Workshop
Everyday is a new learning day. In February 2019, I headed to Goa for the second time attending Lights in Goa - International Lighting Conference and Workshop. Not just listening to great designers but educator from Asia and Europe. The fee was so little compare to what you could learn and share. Moreover, you will have also a chance to meet old lighting friends, connecting with new people, getting to know new products and attend workshop which to me, it was really impressive and could further apply to lighting work and our lighting society.

BANGKOK DESIGN WEEK 2019, Thailand
THE SCALA THEATRE
This year, Lighting Designers Thailand get together again to put a spell on the charming last stand alone theatre in Bangkok; The Scala. The architecture itself has awarded Conservation Architectural Design Award in 2012. Scala has been standing elegantly for almost 50 years. It has an architectural style of a theater in late modernist with the decoration in the Art Deco design. The front of the building is a high platform to open a space through the arch entrance. For the upper floor, the entrance into the theater has a curve structure supported by columns. The ceiling is decorated like a big gear wheel pattern, which becomes the identity of this theater. Lighting and selected music are well synchronised at different time of the night. Again, this is a project when all Thai lighting hearts melted together. We are a great family ! Together, we can.

THE WALL
One of the most common architectural lighting design approaches involves illuminating the vertical surfaces, especially the walls. It creates the perception of brightness. With this in mind and intention to promote better lit environment, "THE WALL" wants to explore this play of light in an urban context and shows what light can do for a city.
We are working on it! Welcome you all to visit from 27th Jan - 4th Feb, 2018 at Talad Noi ; the charming old neighbourhood near River City Hotel.
